Buying cars in Brisbane is very much like buying cars anywhere else in Australia, except that you'll probably be dealing with a Cars Buyer Brisbane. A Cars Buyer is a person who purchases a pre-owned vehicle from either an individual or dealership and then sells it on to the new owner. They can be found pretty much anywhere in Australia, although Motor Authority stores tend to be more prevalent in larger areas of south-east Queensland such as Mermaid Beach, Mooloolaba and Tallebudgera. As well as buying cars from these outlets, Cars Buyers can also find "new" or used vehicles for sale from other sources, and sometimes even from other countries, at auction. In addition to buying, selling and trading used cars, a Cars Buyer can also work as a mechanic or appraiser, so it's a great opportunity to gain some extra qualification!

There are many different places where a person can buy a used car, including from a dealership. You can also go privately, but finding a reputable dealership is easier if you have some basic qualifications. There are many things to consider when choosing a car, such as price, colour, safety rating, performance, body-work condition, wheels size, interior and exterior refurbishments, reliability, and any extras (e.g. audio, DVD player, Bluetooth). Some cars are more difficult to research than others, so it's always a good idea to speak to someone at each dealership about what's available and what's required before deciding on what you want.

However, one thing that is almost certain about buying a car in Brisbane is that you will have to deal with a Cars Buyer. If you're looking for a used car, particularly one that has been repossessed by a dealership, then you may be able to get a Car Buyer's License simply by completing an approved application, which will require you to meet certain minimum age and literacy requirements. If you're looking to buy, sell, trade-in or appraise cars, you'll need to know a bit about cars first before you even begin to look. Becoming a car's buyer is not as easy as it looks and sometimes, it can take years of education, experience and hard work to be successful.
